Integrating MyLibraryBookstore

Encore supports integration with Baker and Taylor's MyLibraryBookstore product. If your library uses this product, you can offer patrons the option to connect to MyLibraryBookstore where they can purchase books. Encore uses the ISBN in the bibliographic record to check availability in MyLibraryBookstore. If the item is available for purchase, Encore displays a Buy Now button on the record details page. If the record does not contain an ISBN or if the item is not available for purchase, Encore does not display the Buy Now button.

Note

Encore supports MyLibraryBookstore integration for book material types only (including large print).

Contact Innovative to enable this feature. Innovative will need the following information:

  • the URL to your library's MyLibraryBookstore
  • your Baker & Taylor library ID
  • your Baker & Taylor library password
  • (Optional) your library's preferred text for the Buy Now button.
