Scope Authority Records function in Sierra client
In Sierra 6.6 and newer, authorized library staff can use Scope Authority Records as a regular workflow function in Sierra staff client, both in Desktop and Web.
To use the Scope Authority Records function from Sierra client, you must be assigned permission 13 (Maintain Scope Menu / Scope Authorities).
To use the function, your library staff must have the function as a part of their workflow.
To scope Authority Records directly from Sierra:

In your Sierra client, select Scope Authority Records under Function.
The Scope Authority Records screen displays.

(Optional) Enter a record name in the field to start scoping from that specific record.
If you leave the field blank, the scoping will include all authority records.

Select Start.
The scoping process starts, listing the current authority record scoped.

(Optional) Select Stop to stop the scoping process.
Once stopped, the scoping process can be continued from the last scoped authority record by entering that record's name.
