Adding Single Titles to Resources

To add single titles to a resource, you must be assigned permissions 555 (Coverage Edit) and 557 (Coverage View) . See Permissions Used by Sierra for more information.

You can add a single title to an existing resource in your library's coverage table.

To add resources or batch-load titles, see Loading Coverage Data.

To add a single title to an existing resource in the coverage table:

  1. Choose Coverage Edit from the Function list.
  2. Display the resources in the coverage database.
  3. Display the titles in a resource.
  4. Choose Edit | New.

    The New Coverage dialog displays.
  5. Enter data (such as title, issn, eissn, etc.) in the dialog's text boxes.
  6. To make this title active, select the Active check box.

    To be displayed by applications such as ERM and WebBridge, the title must be active.
  7. Choose Save.

    The title is added to the resource.
