Setting the Statistics Log File Size

You can set the maximum size of the Pathfinder Pro statistics log file.

When the file reaches 90% of the maximum size, Pathfinder Pro sends an alert by email. When the file reaches the maximum size, Pathfinder Pro stops collecting statistics and sends a second alert by email.

Set the maximum file size, email address for alerts, and email subject line for alerts in the menu:

1. Enter:
   
   A > ADDITIONAL system functions
      A > ALTER system parameters
         S > SYSTEM codes
            O > Set system OPTIONS
               D > Database maintenance
   
   The Database maintenance menu displays:
   
   

            INNOPAC SYSTEM OPTIONS (Database maintenance)
   
   29 > Paper type for labels...............................NOT SET
   30 > Email Note..............................................YES
   31 > Create BOOLEAN lists: scope during range..................N
   32 > Email backup errors.............................Call Innov.
   33 > WebBriodge statistics limit..................Choose to view
   
   Key a number or
   F > FORWARD                   R > RETURN to Systems Options menu
   B > BACKWARD
   Choose one (1-33,F,B,R)

2. For Pathfinder Pro statistics, choose Pathfinder Pro statistics limit if available (or else WebBridge statistics limit) by entering its associated number.
   
   The statistics limit system option displays:
   
   

            INNOPAC SYSTEM OPTIONS (Database maintenance)
   
   1 > Maximum size of WebBridge logs in megabytes..........NOT SET
   2 > e-mail TO field......................................NOT SET
   3 > e-mail SUBJECT line..................................NOT SET
   
   Key a number or
   R > RETURN to Systems Options menu

3. Choose to set the maximum file size by entering 1.
4. Enter the maximum size of the statistics log file in megabytes.
   
   The default maximum size of the file is 50 MB.
5. Choose to set the email address to which alerts should be sent by entering 2.
6. Enter the email address.
7. Choose to set the email subject line for alerts by entering 3.
8. Enter the email subject line.
9. When prompted, choose to save your changes.
