Using FTP to Transfer Files from the Local to Staging Directory
After editing a file in the local_staging/screens directory, use your favorite FTP program or the FTP functionality of your HTML editing program to move it from the local_staging/screens directory to the /http/staging/screens directory on the Web server. You can move edited files individually or in batches.
To move file(s) from the local_staging directory to the Web server's staging directory:
- Open the FTP program or functionality.
- Choose the file(s) in the local_staging/screens directory to be transferred to the Web server.
- Use the appropriate command in the FTP program or functionality to transfer the file(s).
