Bookmarking Resources in Talis Aspire

The WebPAC supports integration with Talis Education Limited's Talis Aspire reading list management system (RLMS). If your institution uses this system, you can integrate the WebPAC with it. This lets patrons use the WebPAC to add bookmarks in Talis Aspire for the resources they find in the WebPAC.

Bookmarking a Resource

If you have a Talis Aspire account and you find a resource in the WebPAC that you want to add to your bookmarks in Talis Aspire, you can use the WebPAC to do this. You don't need to be logged into the WebPAC.

To bookmark a resource in Talis Aspire:

  1. In the WebPAC, search for the resource.
  2. Display the full record for the resource.

  3. In the navigation bar at the top of the record, select Bookmark on Talis.

    This opens a new window that takes you to the Talis Aspire site. If you're not already signed into Talis Aspire, the system prompts you to do so.

  4. Sign in if needed.

    Because information about the resource was passed from the WebPAC to Talis Aspire, creation of the bookmark is started automatically, and some of its information is already entered.

  5. Finish adding the bookmark.
