Setting Up the Integration with Talis Aspire

If your institution uses the Talis Aspire reading list management system (RLMS), you can integrate the WebPAC with it.

To set up the integration:

1. Add the TALIS_URL Web option.

   This enables the integration in the WebPAC and displays the link for bookmarking a resource in Talis Aspire. In the WebPAC, the link appears on the navigation bar at the top of the resource's full record page.

2. (Optional) Customize the link by adding either of the following Web options:
   • ICON_BUT_TALIS_BOOKMARK: This lets you specify the text to use, the image to use, or both. It also lets you vary the value by language.
   • BUT_TALIS_BOOKMARK: This lets you specify the image to use.
