Help Menu

The Help menu contains some or all of the following options:

About

Opens the About Sierra window, which contains the following information:

Information	Description
Software Release	The version of the software running on your Innovative machine, including the software update version.
Release Date	The date that the software running on your Innovative machine was released.
JRE Version	The version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) running on your PC. Knowing the version number can be useful when troubleshooting Sierra problems.
Current Login	The login that you used to connect to the Sierra server on your Innovative system.
Current Accounting/Serials Unit	If your library has multiple accounting/serials units, this number indicates the current accounting/serials unit.
Current Scope	If your library has acquired scoping (see Scope Maintenance), the name of the current scope appears on this line.
Current Locations Served	The locations served of the current login.
Server PID	The process ID (PID) of the Sierra server running on the Innovative system. Knowing the process ID can be useful when troubleshooting Sierra problems.
Encryption	The SSL encryption status of the Sierra application running on your PC.
Fiscal Close	The method of fiscal close your library has selected.

This window also has an option to clear the JAR cache.

When you are done viewing the information, click OK close the About Sierra window.
