Showcase Integration with ActiveCampaign

Foundational work has been completed to enable integration between Vega systems and ActiveCampaign, allowing published Showcase content to be used in future marketing campaigns. Previously available in Legacy Promote, this capability will be reintroduced to support more personalized and engaging patron experiences. Further development is planned in upcoming releases to deliver the full feature.

Foundation for Bounce and Spam Tracking

Work completed in this release establishes the foundation for a future feature that will make hard bounce and spam event information available within library ILS systems. Increased visibility into email delivery issues will help libraries identify patron communication problems and take appropriate follow-up actions when email addresses become invalid or messages cannot be delivered.

Fixes

This release includes several improvements to the ActiveCampaign integration focused on performance, reliability, and data consistency.

  • ActiveCampaign Sync Performance Improvements:

    Improved the performance of patron synchronization with ActiveCampaign by optimizing record processing and reducing delays during large sync jobs.

  • Improved Patron Update Synchronization:

    Resolved an issue where patron updates from the ILS were not consistently synchronized to corresponding ActiveCampaign contacts.

  • ActiveCampaign Sync Reliability Enhancements:

    Resolved an issue that could cause ActiveCampaign synchronization jobs to become stuck during processing, improving overall synchronization reliability.

  • Enhanced ActiveCampaign Sync Configuration Controls:

    Added controls to better manage large custom field datasets and synchronization behavior with ActiveCampaign, helping prevent performance issues and improve overall synchronization efficiency.
