New Header W/ App Launcher
The new header delivers a seamless staff experience across Vega Discover, Vega Promote, and LX Starter. Now library staff can easily navigate across their staff applications.

Single Sign-On (SSO): Staff log in once to easily access both staff applications

"LX Starter" takes the user to the notices page

"Promote" takes the user to the marketing page

"Discover" takes the user to Discover staff settings

Library staff no longer need to keep track of app URLs in bookmarks or spreadsheets. The app launcher streamlines staff workflows by giving them a single launching point to access any application they use to do their job.

A centralized hub for all library-related apps.
Add, edit, delete, and search apps -
Apps are created by each user based on their individual needs and role at the library
With the new header change we streamlined user management between Vega Discover Staff and LX Admin.

All users are now visible in both user management tables.

Deleting a user deletes the user from both applications.

Adding users via Active Directory in Discover will not appear in LX Admin, but will continue to display in Discover User Management

For consoritum: LX Admin Consortium-level roles are still required for cross member library site access for LX Starter.

For consortium: Discover users WITHOUT a LX Admin role will show in the Consortium Admin User management table in LX Admin. All LX Admin users WITHOUT a Discover role will show in the Discover user management table.

For consoritum: to ensure correct member-library access, create new users in LX Starter first, then assign their Discover role. If a user was created in Discover first, delete them and recreate them in the LX Starter site for the member library.
For library staff using Vega Discover, Vega Promote, or LX Starter, the staff applications will display to users based on their selected language preference.

Language Options: you can choose which languages are available for your Vega staff interfaces. Supported options include: Catalan (ES) German (DE), English US, English UK, English NZ, English AU, and English CA

Customizable Translations: you can choose to use either the global translation file or upload your own custom translation file for any of the supported languages.

User Language Selection: Staff users can select their preferred language from a drop down in the new header. By default, the interface will display in English (US).
Language settings can be configured in the Language Translation Settings found under "Library Settings" in LX Admin or within Discover cog menu settings. Custom translation files can be uploaded via the Customization Settings within the Language Translation settings.
Improvement: Patron Service Performance
Improvements were made to the patron service database to protect database performance under high volume.
Bug Fix
Patron Histories are complete again
Patron records will show all time history of activy again, giving you full transparency of patron's actiivty with notices and marketing communciations.
