Using Facets in Encore Mobile

Encore Mobile's facets help you refine your search by limiting the results according to the characteristics you choose. The facets do not appear by default. Tap the facet button to display the facet list.

Tap the facet button again to hide the facet list.

Most Encore Mobile facets have the following features:

• The number of corresponding resources appears to the right of each facet value.
• Choose the down arrow to view the facets available for each heading.
• Tap a facet value to refine the search results list to just those materials that match the value.
• When you choose a facet, the facet list closes and the facet button provides a numeric indicator of the number of facets applied to your search.
• Remove an applied facet from your search by tapping the 'X' icon that appears next to its name.
