Polaris ExpressCheck

Polaris ExpressCheck is a self-check application offering a modern, web-based interface that allows patrons to:

  • Check out items

  • Renew items

  • Manage hold requests

  • View fines and fees

Unlike self-check stations that rely on the SIP communication protocol, ExpressCheck communicates directly with the Polaris application and database for fast transactions. ExpressCheck does not require special hardware other than a touchscreen device. The recommended resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, with a minimum supported resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. If your library is licensed for multiple languages, patrons can select their preferred display language after signing in.

Important:
Polaris ExpressCheck is purchased and licensed separately. Contact your Polaris Site Manager to obtain your license for ExpressCheck.
