About Polaris System Administration (Web-Based)

You can use the Polaris System Administration (web-based) user interface to configure certain administrative settings instead of signing in to the Polaris staff client or the Polaris Web Admin Tool (Language Editor).

You can still use Polaris Administration (staff client) to configure staff members and workstations, or the Web Admin Tool (Language Editor) to configure PAPI access keys.

You can sign in to Polaris System Administration (web-based) if your Polaris user account has the Access administration: Allow permission.

You can use Polaris System Administration (web-based) to configure the following:

• Collections
• Log Files
• Organizations
• Permission Groups
• PAPI Key Management
• Resource Groups
• Servers
• Settings and Tables
• SQL Job Status
• Staff Members
• Vendor Accounts
• Workstations

You can also manage:

• Calculating Due Dates
• Request to Fill (RTF) Sequences
• Display Shelf Location Processing
