cloudLibrary troubleshooting

The cloudLibrary titles are not appearing in search

If cloudLibrary titles are not appearing in the app's search results, check the following:

  • Confirm that the title is available in your ILS/LMS or discovery service.

  • Confirm that the catalog record corresponds to the cloudLibrary title or edition.

  • Confirm that the record has been indexed by your configured discovery service, if applicable.

If the title is present in your catalog but is not being enriched with cloudLibrary information, contact Clarivate Support for assistance.

A cloudLibrary title appears in search, but cloudLibrary availability is not displayed.

This may indicate that the catalog record was found but could not be matched to a corresponding cloudLibrary record.

  • Check that the catalog record contains accurate identifiers, such as the ISBN, and that the record corresponds to the cloudLibrary title or edition.

  • If the catalog information appears correct, contact Clarivate Support and provide the title, author, ISBN, and relevant catalog record information so the match can be investigated.

A patron is being asked to sign in to cloudLibrary.

Depending on the patron's existing cloudLibrary authentication session, they may be prompted to sign in when accessing digital content through the app. The patron should sign in using their cloudLibrary account credentials.

If the patron is unable to sign in or receives an error from cloudLibrary, the issue may need to be addressed with cloudLibrary Support.

A cloudLibrary title is available in cloudLibrary but does not appear in the app.

cloudLibrary availability alone does not make a title discoverable through the app. The title must first be represented by a corresponding record in your ILS/LMS or discovery service.

If the title is available in cloudLibrary but there is no corresponding catalog record, the title will not appear in the app's Search results.

A patron can't access borrowed content.

Digital content is accessed through cloudLibrary. Depending on the patron's authentication status, they may need to sign in to their cloudLibrary account within the in-app browser.

If the patron can access the title but can't authenticate or access their cloudLibrary account, the issue may need to be addressed with cloudLibrary Support.
