Searching within a Publication

To enable the Search within Publication feature in Encore, your library must have the EBSCO Discovery Service and configure the Publication Finder feature in the Encore Administration and EBSCO Administration applications.

Encore with EDS supports integration with the Search within Publication feature of EBSCO's Publication Finder. Encore displays the Search within Publication box under the journal title at the top of the search results when your search is an exact match to the journal title. For example:

If the journal is searchable (as determined by EBSCO), you can perform a search within the publication by using the search box. If the journal is not searchable, Encore displays the message "Journal is not searchable" instead of the search box.

Note that your initial search can be one of the following:

A basic search
An advanced search of the keyword slice
An advanced search of the title slice
