Materials Booking

If your library has acquired Materials Booking and enabled patron self-booking, you can use Encore to "book" or reserve library materials for future use. In contrast to holds, you specify the time period for access to the booked item when you place the booking. You can book bibliographic materials and other materials, such as audio visual equipment and rooms.

You can self-book items from the brief view of the search results list or from the record detail page.
