Configuring Barcode Printing

You can configure the item barcode format using the Print item barcode configuration setting in Polaris System Administration (web-based). This setting can be configured at the System, Library, and Branch level.

To configure the item barcode format

1. In Polaris System Administration (web-based), select the Settings tab.

2. Find the Print item barcode configuration setting. You can filter the list by typing in the Search box.

3. Select Configure.

   • The Print item barcode configuration dialog opens, where you can:

   • Set the barcode format, width and height (pixels)

   • Select whether to include the barcode number

   • Select whether to include the organization name

   • Enter the organization name

4. Select Save and Close.
