Server Information Needed by Remote Z39.50 Clients

IP Address

The IP address of your system.

Port Number

This is port 210. If your system is installed behind a network firewall, the firewall must allow connections on this port.

Database Name

The database code for your library catalog. For your main database this is INNOPAC, but if you have other (reference) databases on your Innovative machine (for example, ERIC), they will have different names. If you want to provide Z39.50 access to these databases, please contact Innovative for the names. You can also set a database name to search a specific scope of the database. If your library has acquired the Scoping product and scopes by Z39.50 databases, you must use the following format:

Code for database: INNOPAC:<scope>

Where <scope> represents the entry in the Scope Menu file. This entry must have "INNOPAC" preceding the scope in order to identify the Innovative server. For example:
