Check-out: Display multiple patron messages?

This option controls whether authorized staff members can view all of the messages in a patron record, which includes messages in the PMESSAGE fixed-length field plus any MESSAGE variable-length fields.

To enable library staff to view the PMESSAGE field and the contents of only the first MESSAGE field in the patron record, set this circulation option to "NO".
To enable library staff to view the PMESSAGE field and the contents of all MESSAGE fields in the patron record, enable this circulation option as follows:
1. Set the Check-out: Display multiple patron messages? circulation option to "YES".
2. Choose the authorization number you want to use to enable logins to view all MESSAGE fields (e.g., permission 94 or 161) and set up the appropriate logins with this authorization.
3. Contact Innovative to configure the Check-out: Display multiple patron messages? circulation option with the chosen permission number.
