Modifying Holds within the Holds Tab
To view the Holds tab, you must be assigned permission 94 (View patron record in check-out). From the Holds tab, no permission is required to choose the Modify Holds button. For more information, see Permissions Used By Sierra.
To modify one or more of a patron's holds:
- Retrieve the patron's record if it is not already displaying.
- View the Holds tab:
- click on the Holds tab, or
- choose the Circulation Desk | Holds option from the Go menu
- Select the hold(s) that the patron wants to modify.
- Choose the Modify Holds button. The system prompts you to modify the information for the hold(s) that you selected.
