Editing the Order Record While Claiming Late Serials
To edit order records while claiming, you must be assigned permission 134 (Update order records).
To access the Card tab, you must be assigned the following permissions:
- 077 (Serials checkin)
- 088 (Claim overdue issues)
- 089 (Bind serials)

Sierra allows you to edit order records during serials claiming without leaving the Card tab. You can do so by:
- Choosing either the Claim One or Claim All button
- Choosing the Last Payment button
Editing Order Records after Choosing the Claim One or Claim All Button
To view or edit the order record using this method, do the following during serials claiming.
- Choose either the Claim One or Claim All button on the Card tab. The Claim Box or the Claim All Selected Boxes dialog opens.
- Choose the Record Number button. The Select Order Record for Claiming window opens.
- Choose the Edit button. Sierra displays the full order record in the Record tab.
- Edit the desired fields. See Overview of Maintaining Records for more information on editing fields.
- Choose Save or Exit Edit. You are prompted to save changes when you exit.
Editing Order Records after Choosing the Last Payment Button
To view or edit the order record using this method, do the following during serials claiming.
- Choose the Last Payment button on the Card tab. The Use Order Record for Claiming window opens.
- Choose the Edit button. Sierra displays the full order record in the Record tab.
- Edit the desired fields. See Overview of Maintaining Records for more information on editing fields.
- Choose Save or Exit Edit. You are prompted to save changes when you exit.
