Editing Checkin Cards
To edit checkin cards, you must be assigned permission 144 (Update checkin records).
To access the Card tab, you must also be assigned one of the following permissions:
- 077 (Serials checkin)
- 088 (Claim overdue issues)
- 089 (Bind serials)

To edit a checkin card:
- Choose Serials Checkin from the Function list.
- Retrieve the checkin card.
- To edit the checkin card boxes, select the boxes to edit.
- Choose the desired editing function from Tools | Box Menu, Tools | Advanced Options, or Tools | Card Menu.
The available editing functions are:
Box Menu:
- Create Item for Box
- Modify Boxes Individually
- Extrapolate Boxes
- Delete Boxes
- Update Boxes as a Group
- Insert Issue Boxes before Selected
- Add Issue Boxes at End of Card
- Insert Supplement Boxes before Selected (optional)
- Add Supplement Boxes at End of Card (optional)
- Insert Index Boxes before Selected (optional)
- Add Index Boxes at End of Card (optional)
- Print Labels
- Print Routing Slip
Advanced Options:
Card Menu:
You can use the Undo and Redo options to erase and re-do your last checkin card change, depending on the nature of the change (e.g., archiving a card cannot be erased). The Undo and Redo options are available in the Tools menu and in the popup menu that displays when you right-click on the card.
