Refreshing EXPECTED Dates Based on ARRIVED Dates
The expected dates for issues, supplements, and indexes are initially entered by the library when boxes are added to the checkin card. However, the delay between the cover date and receipt of the serial at the library might change. The expected dates are then incorrect.
You can set new expected dates by extrapolating from arrived issues. The difference between cover dates and arrived dates is then taken into consideration in the new expected dates.
To set new expected dates based on arrived dates:
- Retrieve the checkin card.
- Select at least one box with a STATUS of "ARRIVED".
- Select one or more boxes with a STATUS of EXPECTED" following the arrived box(es).
- Choose Tools | Box Menu | Refresh Expected Dates.
