Mobile Release Notes March 2026
App Store Update Required
Features
Vega Program | HTML Descriptions: Event descriptions can now include HTML formatting, so links, line breaks, and other basic formatting will display correctly within the app in event details.
My Lists | Improved Work vs. Record Display: The app now more clearly distinguishes between works and records in lists. This ensures that titles, authors, images, and metadata display consistently, whether in sliders, buttons, or tall lists.
Vega Showcase Carousels: Libraries can now create dynamic carousels within the app by assigning a specific Showcase ID in the Content Management System.
Updates
My Account Details | Improved Field Descriptions: Patron account details now include clearer descriptions for certain fields, including loan history options such as “Keep Historical Loan Data” and “Checkout History.” This makes it easier to understand what each setting means when reviewing account information.
My Account Details | Improved Error Handling: When updating account details, patrons will now see clearer server error messages if something goes wrong. If an update fails, the account page also resets automatically to prevent display issues.
Item Details Display | Improved Copy and Classification Display: Minor adjustments have been made to how copy information and classification details are shown in item records. Labels and values now wrap more cleanly, ensuring that information like location, call number, or status is easier to read even when the text is long.
Pay All Supports All Linked Accounts: The Pay All button now works for any linked account, not just the primary account. This makes it easier to manage and pay all outstanding charges across all users in your family or household from one place.
Princh | Updated Printer Information Handling: The app now uses an improved Princh data service to fetch printer details. Patrons will see more accurate information about available printers, including color and monochrome options, duplex printing, scanner availability, pricing, and any warnings about printer security. This ensures a smoother and more reliable printing experience.
YouTube Playback Reliability: YouTube videos in the app now use a privacy-focused playback method. Videos will play reliably in both Android and iOS, and this update resolves previous playback issues, including Error 153, so patrons can watch content without interruptions or unexpected full-screen behavior.
Mass Cancel Confirmation Update for Holds: When canceling multiple holds at once, the app now correctly prompts for patron confirmation to prevent accidental cancellations.
Improved Charges Display: Charge amounts now appear prominently at the front, and the type labels wrap cleanly to make it easier to read all outstanding fees at a glance.
Fixes
Princh | Improved Printing Information Links: Links included in library-provided printing information now open correctly within the app. This ensures that any helpful instructions or external resources related to Princh printing work as expected when patrons tap them.
Search | Improved Text and Translation Reliability: An issue has been resolved that could cause some search-related labels or text to display incorrectly. The app now uses the correct translations more reliably, ensuring consistent wording throughout the search experience.
Vega Program | Improved Room Policy Links: Links to Terms & Conditions and Insurance policies for rooms now open reliably within the app. Patrons can view the specific section for each room directly, making it easier to understand booking rules and requirements before confirming a reservation.
Vega Program | Fixed Room and Resource Pagination: An issue affecting pagination for rooms and resources within the app has been resolved. Results now load correctly when browsing or loading additional items, ensuring a smoother user experience when viewing available spaces or equipment.
Vega Program | Improved Event Series Display: An issue has been resolved where some event series were not displayed correctly. Events that belong to a series will now reliably show related events, even when the series is identified by name instead of an ID.
