Edit saved reports

You can edit saved reports to update filters, joins, SQL logic, or visualizations.

To edit a report

1. In the main navigation, select Saved Questions.

2. Open the report you want to update.

3. Select Edit.

   • Reports created with the Query Builder open in the Query Builder.

   • Reports created with SQL open in the SQL Editor

4. Make changes as needed:

   • Filters

   • Joins

   • Aggregations

   • Visualizations

   • SQL statements

5. Select Save to overwrite the report.
   Alternatively, you can select Save As to preserve the original and create a copy. In this case, you need to provide a new name, description, and collection, then select Save.

Editing permissions

Role	Permissions
Reports Admin (Main Site)	Can edit any report
Reports Admin (Collection Site)	Can edit reports created in their site
Reports Consumer	Can't edit or save reports

 

Pre-built dasahboards can't be edited, regardless of permission level.
