Data models

In Vega Reports, a data model is a curated data table that can be queried, filtered, or used to build dashboards.

To access Vega report data models

  1. From the Settings menu, select Vega Reports.
    The Vega Reporting page is displayed.

  2. Open the sidebar by selecting and then Models.

    The following models are available:

    Model name Description
    Active visitors per day Active visitors who interacted with Vega Discover grouped by day
    Daily Minutes per Visitor Daily snapshot of minutes spent by visitor
    Events by Browser Breakdown of customer events based on browsers used
    Feature Events with name Tracks user interactions with key UI elements, such as button clicks, using standard feature names
    Feature Events Specific interactions with tagged UI elements (e.g., button clicks) that are tracked as features
    Features UI elements tagged to track usage, such as buttons, links, or tabs
    Pages Tagged views of specific URLs or screens in your Vega Discover, used to track navigation and time spent
    Events Any user interaction tracked by Pendo, including page views, feature clicks, and custom Track Events
    Page Events Events triggered when a user loads or interacts with a tagged page
    New visitors Last 30 Days Unique users identified as first‑time visitors during the previous 30‑day period
    Track Events A Track Event is a custom event sent from Vega Discover that captures specific user actions or behaviors not automatically tracked by Pendo, such as clicks, searches, or form submissions. E.g. Num of events related to Vega Discover Search initiated (number of customers that actually clicked on search button).
    Track Types Categories of Track Events used to differentiate how events are captured. E.g. 'Vega Search Initiated'
    Site IDs/Account IDs Account IDs model represent each Site URL pulled from collection sites. Used for easier joining with other models
