Logging In to Encore
You can log in to Encore at any time using the Sign in button in the upper-right corner of each Encore page. Additionally, Encore presents your library's login form when you choose an action that requires authentication, such as requesting an item, saving bibliographic information to a list, or using Community Features.
Logging in to Encore requires a login name or user ID, and a password such as a personal identification number (PIN) or barcode.
When you are logged in to Encore, you can:
- request items (place holds).
- view article results.
- access the patron account page.
- use Community Features to contribute tags.
- save lists in My Book Cart.
You do not need to log in to search with Encore.
