Holds List or Count Reports
The Holds list reports subtab and the Holds count reports subtab offer the same types of data columns and filters, but the report output is different. Holds list reports are detailed lists of data from hold requests and their associated records, while holds count reports provide simple counts based on the selected criteria. To create a holds list or count report
- Select the Holds tab. The Holds list reports subtab page displays. If you are creating a count report, select the Holds count reports subtab.
- Set the row limit and address type (if applicable).
- Select the columns to output, and use the up and down arrows to order the columns from left to right on the report.
- Select the columns to sort.
- Specify the format for the report.
- (Holds count reports) In the Optional section, set any number options you wish to apply to the report.
- Apply filters to the report data.
- Click Submit.
- Do one of the following:
- Download the report in the selected format.
- Create a patron record set of the patron records linked to the hold requests that meet the criteria specified in the report parameters.
- Save the report file in the My Reports list.
Important:
To clear your selections on a subtab, click the subtI reaab heading. The subtab settings revert to the default settings.

The available columns for holds list and count reports consist of data from hold requests, and their linked patron, item, and bibliographic records. See Database Columns.
Note:
If you select Select 'top' (number) __ most request titles and enter a number, the report prioritizes the sort with the NumberOfItems (count) column, then any other columns selected for sorting. If you do not select this option, the report prioritizes the sort with the columns selected for sort, then the NumberOfItems (count) column.
