Serials List or Count Reports
The Serial list reports and Serial count reports offer the same types of data columns and filters, but the report output is different. Serial list reports are detailed lists of data from serial holdings records and their associated records, while serial count reports are simple counts based on the selected criteria. The Serials count reports subtab has additional report output columns, such as Sum subscription current price. For general information on creating list or count reports, see Create a list, count, or summary report.
To include data from records associated with serial holdings records, use the filters for the record type. For example, to run a report on your library’s subscriptions within a certain date range, use the Subscription creation date filter. The report will include data from subscription records with creation dates within the specified range and data from their linked serial holdings records. Serial holdings records without links to subscription records will not be included in the report.
