Authority Search in Specto Prefills the Results

Authority search in Specto pre-filters the results when tagging with linking to authority. This feature allows users to tag entities faster and more consistently. The prefill is based on institutional configuration setup for allowed Authority Voacbulary.

This setting is available under the Customer Parameter authority_name.

Bulk Dismiss for Entity Groups

On the Entity Group page, users can now multi-select entity groups and dismiss them in bulk using the bulk action "Dismiss Entity". This feature enables users to work faster and repeat fewer processes when extracting entities in Specto.

Modify Identified Content Type for Entity Extraction

When Entity Extraction is performed, the system automatically identifies the content type as: image, document, or hybrid. While this process is fast and usually accurate, in some cases, additional editing is required.

Users are now able to manually change the resource type, improving the extraction and further processes.

You might need to rerun the Entity Extraction process on the desired resource, if you manually change the resource type.
