Expanded Physical Item Details and Holdings Details Folders in Fulfillment Subject Area

[September 2026 Analytics and Insights]URM-331984

The Fulfillment Subject Area has been enhanced to better align with the Physical Items Subject Area. Additional fields were added to the Physical Item Details folder, and a new Holdings Details folder was introduced, providing access to a broader set of physical item and holdings information for reporting.

Label Fields Available in Alma Analytics

New label fields were added to various Alma Analytics Subject Areas, enabling institutions to include label information in their analyses and reports. Subject Areas and folders that contain new fields are:

Borrowing Requests (Resource Sharing) > Borrowing Request Details folder
Lending Request (Resource Sharing) > Lending Request Details folder
Physical Items Details folder
Physical Items > Holdings Details folder
Bibliographic Details folder
E-Inventory > Bibliographic Details - Full folder

08373630	Metadata Management	URM-327946 Previously, when multiple fields with the same tag were present, and the tag was configured to be sent to Analytics only when a specific subfield existed, fields that did not contain that subfield incorrectly contributed an extra semicolon to the output. This was fixed.
08399922	Metadata Management	URM-328137 Previously, a sequence number was released only when the 905 field was replaced by another 905 field, which could result in skipped sequence numbers. With this fix, any sequence number that was previously assigned but is no longer present on the record is properly released during execution of the Maintenance905 routine.
08403591	Metadata Management	URM-328341 When the customer parameter solr_searching_language = sw and the customer parameter temp_heading_info_index = true, the heading search term was normalized twice, which caused some diacritic data to be removed from the search term. This was fixed.
