Configure experience settings

Audience themes

If you have a Vega Discover Premium or Consortia license, you can apply the following audience themes to kiosks and collection sites:

  • General Public
  • Children

The children’s theme uses an easy-to-read font, different colors, and fewer filters.

You must be assigned the role of either Main Site Admin or Site Admin to set audience themes.

Search result display options

You can turn the Search Results page grid view on or off at the global level, and override global settings for a kiosk or collection site. You can also make the grid layout the default view.

  1. In the upper-right corner, select Settings Settings icon..
  2. From the Settings menu, select Library defaults.
  3. Select Site Configuration.
  4. In the Actions column, select Options The Options icon. for the site or kiosk that you want to edit.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Select Interface configurations > Experience Settings.
  7. (Vega Discover Premium or Consortia license only) In the Audience Theme section, select one of the following themes:
    • General Public
    • Children
  8. In the Global Setting section, do one of the following:
    • If the global setting is on, and you want to override the search result display options, select Off and go to the next step.
    • If you want to use the global settings, skip the next step.
  9. In the Search Result Display Options section, select one of the following:
    • Disable grid layout
    • Enable grid layout
    • Enable grid layout and make it the default view
  10. Select Save.
  1. In the upper-right corner, select Settings Settings icon..
  2. From the Settings menu, select Interface Configurations.
  3. Select Experience Settings.
  4. On the Global Experience Settings page, under Search Result Display Options, select one of the following:
    • Disable grid layout
    • Enable grid layout
    • Enable grid layout and make it the default view
  5. Select Save.
