You can set a temporary display status for recently returned items to indicate that items have been returned, but they might not yet be available on the shelf. For example, you could set the status of recently returned items to Recently Returned or Shelving.
The status appears on the Resource page and the Location drawer.
To configure the recently returned item status
- In the upper-right corner, select Settings
. - From the Settings menu, select Library defaults.
- Select Display settings.
- Under Recently Returned Status, select On.
- In the Temporary Status box, enter the text that you want the system to display.
- In the Duration of temporary status (hours) box, enter the number of hours you want the system to display that status.
- Select Save.
