Encore 4.5 SP3 Features and Enhancements

Encore 4.5 SP3 includes the following features and enhancements:

Encore provides improved searching, including the following:

For queries that include leading articles, Encore ignores the leading articles to produce more expected search results.
As requested by customers, leading articles in Encore are now handled as they are in WebPAC. Default behavior ignores the following articles: "a", "an", and "the" as it does in WebPAC. For example, a search for “the revenant” delivers the same results as “revenant”.
Behavior is configurable through the Admin App. (Requires Sierra 2.4 or later)

Encore now includes the following accessibility improvements:

Darkened font in compliance with a WCAG & Section 508 compliance checker.
Alternate text for images.
Labels for forms (excluding the Advanced Search page due to an architectural limitation).
Improved tab behavior for screenreaders.

At customer request, the version of Encore the library is running displays in the Admin App under "Encore Customization".
