Encore 5.4 Features and Enhancements

Encore 5.4 requires Sierra 5.4. You must install Sierra 5.4 before attempting to install Encore 5.4.

Encore 5.4 includes the following enhancement:

Beginning January 31, 2022, EBSCO will begin enforcing HTTPS for all requests sent to the EDS API. Encore with EDS has been modified to support HTTPS. In a previous notice, EBSCO announced that this change would take effect on September 1, 2021. To prevent any disruption, Innovative updated all of our Encore with EDS customers to use HTTPS in August 2021.
