Encore 4.8 includes the following features and enhancements:

Talis Integration
Talis is a Reading List Management System (RLMS) used by many universities in the United Kingdom. Encore now displays the Talis reading list associated with that title on the full record display. Academic institutions can also bookmark the link in Talis from this display.
Talis integration is not available for Encore Mobile at this time.

Consortia Search (Suites Enhancements)
Encore now provides the ability to easily move between suites that are part of a consortia. A new Search Consortia drop-down menu on the Catalog, CatalogPlus, and Image tabs allows patrons to change the suite. After changing the suite, searches display results from that suite only.
New options in the Sierra Administration Application control which suites appear in the Search Consortia drop-down box in Encore and the display name for each suite and language combination defined in your library's system.

Facets Configuration
Facet configuration options are now available to library staff in the Sierra Administration Application. These options control which facets display in Encore, the order in which they appear, and which facets display facet counts.

Accessibility Improvements
Encore now includes the following accessibility improvements:
- Header active elements can be used with the keyboard.
- Dialog windows get a keyboard focus when opened.
- On the search results page, a set of standard keyboard commands can be used with the "Edit hold" widget for each search result.
- On the search result page, information in tool tips for each search result are accessible to the keyboard.
