Encore 4.6 includes the following features and enhancements:

Facet Improvements

Based on customer feedback, we have improved facet design and functionality, including the following:

  • Check boxes have been added to denote what facets have been selected.
  • Multiple terms (within a facet) can now be selected.
  • Improved visibility on the boolean search executed
  • More control over EDS facets for libraries with Encore with EDS has been implemented.

Libraries with Encore for EDS should open a Support ticket to enable control over EDS facets.

Encore with EDS: Integration with Publication Finder

For libraries with Encore with EDS, this features requires that your library is on Sierra 3.0.

If a unique exact match is found for a publication, Encore displays a Search within Publication box at the top of the search results. Advanced researchers can choose to search within that publication.
