Credit Card Payments Settings Reference

Prevents web-based credit card payments from within the library network. "Local workstations" are those defined in the In-House IP Addresses database table. Library’s wi-fi connection can also be added to the table to exclude payments from mobile devices within the library.

Configures credit card payment processing from Leap, Polaris Staff Client, the PACs (PowerPAC and Mobile PAC), and Polaris ExpressCheck. Polaris supports several credit card processing services: EnvisionWare, Comprise, JetPay, and Payflow. An organization can use one method only.

Configures Polaris for Comprise SmartPAY credit card processing. With Comprise SmartPAY MSP, you can accept credit card and debit card payments made from the Leap, Polaris Staff Client, Polaris ExpressCheck, Polaris PowerPAC, and Mobile PAC.

Configures Polaris for Envisionware credit card processing. With Comprise Envisionware, the library can accept credit card and debit card payments made from the Leap, Polaris Staff Client, Polaris ExpressCheck, Polaris PowerPAC, and Mobile PAC.

Configures Polaris for JetPay credit card processing. JetPay is a hosted method of accepting credit card payments from Leap and Polaris PowerPAC.

Configures Polaris for Payflow Link credit card processing. With Payflow Link you can accept credit card payments from Leap, Polaris Staff Client, Polaris PowerPAC and Mobile PAC, and Polaris ExpressCheck for charges on patron accounts and donations to the library (PAC only). A separate license is required for each application.

Specifies the SmartTerminal card reader ID.
