Bug Fixes
My Bookshelf For Later Lists
Resolved an issue preventing some patrons from viewing their For Later list. The recent cleanup of hoopla deletions coincided with adding availability icons to bookmarked items. This caused deleted items with a missing availability status to crash the bookmarks tab. We have improved the handling of deleted items by:

Displaying the item as grayed out

Removing availability icons

Item is not clickable

Items no longer available in OverDrive or hoopla display an "unavailable" message.
My Bookshelf Showcases (My Bookshelf Availability Beta Libraries only)
Fixed a bug for staff users creating showcases from bookmark lists. The ellipses did not open the "Create Showcase" page and no error message was displayed.

Reading History Author Search and Sort
A fix has been applied to Reading History to bring back the ability to search and sort by Author Names. Please allow individual Reading History logs a chance to update after our deployment which can take up to 4 hours.
Hold Logic Fix
The work level hold logic has been updated to better choose the ideal edition when items are checked out. For example, I place a hold to pickup at the Main Branch on a work that has two editions. Edition one has two copies, one at Alpha Branch and one at Main Branch. But the Main Branch copy is currently checked out. Edition two has three copies, one at Alpha Branch, one at Beta Branch, and one at Delta Branch and all copies are available. My hold will be placed on edition two that has three available copies to fulfill my hold.

hoopla API Removals & Vega Libraries
Impacts the hoopla Instant collection
hoopla recently undertook a comprehensive review of their current collection development policy and have made several updates to address the concerns raised by hoopla libraries. The updates made mitigate the presence of poor AI-generated content, book summaries, and misinformation in their Instant collection, while continuing to offer a contemporary and relevant collection in various formats that meets the informational, educational, and recreational needs of our diverse communities.
Bug Fixes
Home Page Cover Pill Gets Renamed
A showcase defaults to the selected showcase name. When a pill is renamed, that name is not overridden by choosing a new showcase.
Reading History Translation String
A bug was fixed where the reading history translation string was visible in the confirmation popup window.
