You can remove closed locations from the list of pickup locations patrons see when they place a hold. When a location is no longer closed, you can restore it to the list of pickup locations.
If you don't see a location that you want to remove, ensure that the location is configured as an item location in the location hierarchy. For more information, see Define the location hierarchy.
To filter closed locations
- In the upper-right corner, select Settings
. - From the Settings menu, select Library defaults > Closed Locations.
- If you want to search for a location, enter the name of the location in the Search box.
- Do one or more of the following:

To remove a closed location from displayed pickup locations, select the location.

To restore a closed location to displayed pickup locations, clear the checkbox.
