If you have a Vega Discover Premium or Consortia license and you use Polaris, you can limit the collections and/or locations that appear in search results to support a home page for kids or a themed home page. You can limit search results for both collection sites and kiosks.
To limit content by collection, you must be assigned either the Main Site Admin or Site Admin role.
To limit content by collection
- In the upper-right corner, select Settings
. - From the Settings menu, select Library defaults.
- Select Site Configuration.
- In the Actions column, select Options
> Edit for the site or kiosk that you want to edit. - Select Content Scoping > Limit Content.
- (Optional) To search for a collection, enter search terms in the Search box.
- In the Limit By Collection column, select the collections that you want to appear in search results.
Selected collections appear in the Selected Collections column.
To limit content by shelf location
- In the upper-right corner, select Settings .
- From the Settings menu, select Library defaults.
- Select Site Configuration.
- In the Actions column, select Options > Edit for the site or kiosk that you want to edit.
- Select Content Scoping > Limit Content.
- To search for a location hierarchy sublevel, enter search terms in the Search box.
- In the Limit sub-level column, select the location hierarchy sublevel that you want to appear in search results.
Selected collections appear in the Selected Locations column.
