Configuring the Suites Display
Using the consortia settings in the Administration Application, your institution can define which suites are accessible to patrons in Encore and customize the display name associated with each suite.
To configure the suites display:
- Log in to the Administration Application, and click Encore Customization.
- Select the suite you want to edit from the Current suite drop-down list.
- In the subapplication list, click Summary.
- In the list of settings, locate the Consortia Settings section.
- To change whether a suite appears in the Search consortia drop-down list in Encore:
- Select On (Visible in Consortia Search) to display the suite's name or Off (Not visible in Consortia Search) to remove the suite's name.
- Click Save.
- To change the name that appears in the Search consortia drop-down list for the suite:
- In the Suite Name section, click Edit.
- In the pop-up window, enter a display name of up to 30 characters for each language defined in your system. If you do not enter a name, Encore uses the suite code defined during Encore Suites setup.
- When finished, click OK.
- (Optional) Repeat steps 2-6 to change the display for a different suite.
- To display your changes in Encore, refresh the suite by entering the following URL in the browser address box:
