Search Results Header

The header of the Search Results page can include:

• Selectable tabs showing the resources explored by the search. Common options include:
  • Catalog - results limited to your local catalog. If your library uses Encore Harvester, Encore integrates search results from harvested repositories in this tab.
  • CatalogPlus - EDS results interfiled with your library catalog. This tab requires Encore with EDS.
  • EDS - EDS-only results. This tab requires Encore with EDS.
  • Images - results limited to harvested repositories.  This tab requires Encore Harvester.
  • Articles - results including subscription databases accessed with Research Pro. This tab requiresEncore Synergy.
• Patron messages for logged-in patrons.
• A My Cart link.
• A My Account link for logged-in patrons.
• A Login or Logout button.
• A search box to start a new search.
• The system logo, which links to the Encore Home page or to the library or WebPAC home page.
• A link to the Advanced Search form.
• Custom links, such as Provide Feedback or links to a patron account on a non-Innovative system.
• A Search consortia drop-down box for changing the suite (requires Encore Suites).
