Enabling Talis Aspire

Before you enable the Talis Aspire integration with Encore, Innovative must make a few configuration changes on your behalf. To begin, contact Innovative and provide the Talis Aspire tenancy URL for your institution.

Before you enable the integration, consider customizing the related Encore messages shown to patrons. For help, see Customizing Encore Messages.

To enable the Talis Aspire integration with Encore:

  1. In the Administration Application, select Encore Customization.
  2. If your library uses Encore Suites, in Current suite on the left panel, select the suite for which to enable the integration.
  3. From the left panel, select Social.
  4. On the Social Networks page, in the Talis section, select Yes for Enable Talis.

  5. Click Save.

    Saved changes take effect after restarting Encore. Encore is restarted nightly, so changes typically appear the day after they are made.
