Configuring the Library Logos

Encore's header and "Big Footer" provide space for library branding. You can specify a graphic image for Encore to display in one or both locations. You can also configure the image as a link and provide alt text.

Logo Size and Format

The Encore display constrains logo size to a maximum of 175 pixels wide by 80 pixels tall. You can specify an image file of any size, but the system reduces larger images to fit these constraints. Smaller images appear at their native size. The image can be in .png, .jpg, or .gif format.

To configure library logos in Encore:

  1. Log in to the Administration Application and choose Encore Customization.
  2. Choose the suite you want to edit from the Current suite drop-down list.
  3. In the subapplication list, choose Other.
  4. The Library Logo Header and Library Logo Footer boxes show you the current settings for each language on your system. To change the current settings, choose EDIT for either the header or footer logo. The Library Logo editing page opens.
  5. For each language used by your system, specify the following:
    • Location of the logo to display. (The system copies the file to Encore.)
    • Link to apply to the logo. (optional)
    • Alt text for the logo link. (optional)
  6. After you complete your configuration changes, choose SAVE. You can choose Discard changes to preserve the existing settings.
