Customizing Encore

You can tailor Encore in many unique ways to reflect your institution's image. The Encore Customization section of administration application enables you to:

• Add custom JavaScript.
• Specify custom colors.
• Specify custom links.
• Configure eBook accounts access.
• Add library logos.
• Configure location mapping.
• Specify custom material type icons.
• Customize facet text and EDS matching.
• Customize facets.
• Configure Research Starters.
• Enable Publication Finder.
• Configure the suites display.
• Customize patron page functions.
• Customize cookie policy messages.
• Customize privacy policy content.

Use the Encore Customization left panel links to access the customization options.

The Encore Customization Summary page provides the names of available Encore suites and indicates, with a checkmark, if the suites have been customized.

The Summary page provides a link to CSDirect where you can find additional information about Encore.

Additional Customization

In addition to the customization options offered through the Encore administration application, you can configure custom Encore search tools.
